HOW

send(req, path, { root, index: 'home.html' }) serves the custom index file when requesting a directory
send(req, path, { root, extensions: ['html', 'txt'] }) serves the file with a matching extension when omitted from the request path
send(req, path, { root, immutable: true, maxAge: 86400000 }) includes the immutable directive in the Cache-Control header
send(req, path, { root, acceptRanges: false }) omits the Accept-Ranges header and ignores Range request headers
send(req, path, { root, cacheControl: false, etag: false, lastModified: false }) suppresses Cache-Control, ETag, and Last-Modified response headers
