- execabs.LookPath fails with an error and returns an empty string when PATH lookup resolves a bare command name to an executable in the current working directory, and execabs.Command immediately populates cmd.Err to prevent execution.
- execabs.LookPath and execabs.Command succeed and resolve absolute paths when PATH is configured with an absolute directory path.
- execabs.Command allows explicit relative invocations containing path separators without pre-populating cmd.Err at creation.
