Providing `path_params` should replace a URL placeholder like `{id}` even when `path_params_style` is not set.

Contract
- Curly placeholders in the URL are not interpolated by default, so `{id}` stays unreplaced when `path_params_style` is omitted.
- Using `path_params_style: :curly` with the same `path_params` expands `{id}` into `/items/1` in the request URL.
