- assert records are buffered in memory and not dispatched before activationLevel is reached
- assert reaching activationLevel flushes all buffered records up to bufferSize and the trigger record
- assert stopBuffering true immediately forwards subsequent debug records after trigger without buffering
- assert stopBuffering false resumes buffering subsequent debug records after trigger until another activation
- assert passthruLevel flushes only matching level records on close when activationLevel was never reached
- assert bufferSize drops oldest records via FIFO ring buffer rather than discarding new records
