MIT-0

Contract

  1. A result predicate that still requests retry after the third attempt raises RetryError whose last_attempt is a successful Future containing the rejected None result.
  2. retry_error_callback receives the third RetryCallState and returns its fallback value instead of raising RetryError.
  3. Exception exhaustion raises RetryError by default and retains the final ValueError in last_attempt.
  4. With reraise=True, exception exhaustion raises the final ValueError directly after the same bounded attempt count.

NOTES.md
# Notes

The network reference sample covered exception filtering and bounded attempts.
This contract adds result-predicate exhaustion, callback fallback semantics, and
the difference between default `RetryError` wrapping and `reraise=True`.
