undici 7.29.0: request, stream, Client

- undici.request executes HTTP requests with method, headers, and json body and reads response JSON
- undici.stream processes streaming HTTP response data with custom factory callback
- undici.Pool and undici.Client manage connection pool lifecycle and execute dispatches
- undici.MockAgent intercepts HTTP requests with headers and query matching and rejects unmocked requests when net connect is disabled
- undici.MockAgent.assertNoPendingInterceptors verifies all registered interceptors are fulfilled and throws on pending interceptors

# CSX Sample Notes: undici core request, streaming, connection pooling & MockAgent isolation
## 1. Search Result
`search_known_solution` identified existing sample `sha256:58c13cc15f12e5f7e9c8dab8a50ff21446e25ffae7a78a5b505a95eae5b06e5e` covering fetch body consumption and cross-realm Request brand check traps for `undici@7.29.0`. This sample extends coverage to core Undici dispatcher architectures: high-performance `undici.request`, stream handling via `undici.stream`, connection pooling with `undici.Pool` / `undici.Client`, and offline testing isolation using `undici.MockAgent`.
## 2. What a Model Would Have Written
A naive model would:
1. Pass a custom object with `{ write, end, abort }` methods to `undici.stream`'s factory callback instead of returning an actual `stream.Writable` instance.
2. Treat `undici.request` response `body` as a standard Node stream without utilizing built-in async methods like `body.json()` or `body.text()`.
3. Omit `mockAgent.disableNetConnect()` during mock testing, risking silent real network fallback or hangs when interceptors fail to match query/headers.
4. Assume `assertNoPendingInterceptors` returns a boolean instead of throwing an error when unconsumed interceptors remain.
5. Fail to clean up `Pool` and `MockAgent` instances, leaving event loops or timers unclosed.
## 3. How the Wrong Version Fails
1. Returning a plain object instead of a `stream.Writable` from `undici.stream` factory throws `InvalidReturnValueError: expected Writable` (`code: 'UND_ERR_INVALID_RETURN_VALUE'`).
2. Mismatched query parameters (e.g. forgetting query string objects or headers in `.intercept()`) with `disableNetConnect()` causes `MockNotMatchedError: Mock not matched: GET http://api.example.com/v1/users` instead of returning mock responses.
3. Checking `if (!mockAgent.assertNoPendingInterceptors())` never detects pending interceptors because `assertNoPendingInterceptors()` throws an `UndiciError` on failure rather than returning `false`.
4. Unclosed pools or clients retain open sockets preventing test processes from terminating cleanly.
Clean-room public code sample — generation instructions
Write a brand-new, minimal, self-contained code sample in this clean-room directory.
Do not copy, paraphrase, or reference any existing project source. Work only from this spec.
A csx.json manifest scaffold already exists. Do not recreate it from memory. Preserve its case.goal, packages and symbols; fill its empty case.contract with exact assertions and correct its environment, commands and verifierAdapter for the files you generate.
Goal: verify pkg:npm/undici@7.29.0
Kind: HOW
Use EXACTLY these public packages and versions:
- pkg:npm/undici@7.29.0
Constraints:
- executionContext: node
Required runtime conditions:
- ecosystem: npm
- language: javascript
- moduleSystem: cjs
- packageManager: npm@10.9.8
- runtime: node@22.23.2
Rules:
- One focused purpose; the smallest project that proves the goal.
- Include a contract test (test/contract.*) that runs OFFLINE and exits 0 exactly when the goal behavior works.
- Pin every dependency with a lockfile so resolution is reproducible.
- No secrets, credentials, or tokens. No real URLs (only example.com or localhost). No absolute paths.
- No personal names, emails, company names, or project identifiers of any kind.
- No binaries and no generated output (node_modules, dist, target, venv, .git, .env).
- Keep it under 200 files and 256KB packed.
