Contract
- createClock(start) creates an independent Clock instance with initial now matching start
- clock.setTimeout(fn, delay, ...args) schedules a timer and executes it with arguments when advanced
- clock.clearTimeout(id) cancels a pending scheduled timeout
- clock.setInterval(fn, interval) repeatedly executes callback at specified interval until clearInterval(id)
- clock.tick(ms) synchronously advances clock time by ms and fires expired timers in chronological order
- clock.tickAsync(ms) advances clock time asynchronously, awaiting async timer callbacks
- clock.runAll() exhausts all scheduled timers in the queue
- clock.runToLast() advances time to the timestamp of the last scheduled timer and executes pending timers
- clock.setSystemTime(now) adjusts current clock time without firing intermediate timers
- clock.reset() restores clock time to its initial start value and clears all scheduled timers
- install(config) replaces global timer functions with fake timers and uninstall() restores native global functions
- withGlobal(global) returns a fake timer controller bound to the provided global object
