Contract

  1. By default, @rollup/plugin-commonjs converts static require calls into static imports, hoisting deferred require statements out of function bodies.
  2. Passing an array of module IDs to the ignore option leaves targeted require calls unconverted inside function bodies while converting non-ignored dependencies.
  3. Passing a predicate function to the ignore option selectively leaves matching require specifiers unconverted based on dynamic condition evaluation.
  4. Specifying multiple module IDs simultaneously in the ignore array preserves unconverted require calls for all matched dependencies.
  5. An ignored require statement preserves deferred execution semantics, only invoking ambient require when called at runtime.
