go.opentelemetry.io/otel v1.44.0: codes.Error

Échantillon vérifié pour golang go.opentelemetry.io/otel v1.44.0: codes.Error.

NOTES.md
# Notes

- **search_known_solution result**: The network returned a COMPATIBLE sample targeting OpenTelemetry v1.45.0 on musl with 0 contract passes. This clean-room sample targets `pkg:golang/go.opentelemetry.io/otel@v1.44.0` directly on Linux glibc with contract verification.
- **What a model would write instead**: A model frequently assumes `codes.Error` is `2` (confusing Go SDK internal code representation with OTLP wire specification where Error is 2 and Ok is 1), or assumes struct fields of value type `codes.Code` automatically serialize to JSON string `"Error"`. In Go SDK, `codes.Error` is `1` (uint32), and `MarshalJSON()` is defined on a pointer receiver `(*Code)`, so serializing value types directly falls back to the underlying integer `1`.
- **How the wrong version fails**: Marshaling a struct containing value-type `codes.Code` into JSON yields `{"code":1}` instead of `{"code":"Error"}`, causing downstream API consumers and tracing ingestion pipelines that expect textual status enum strings to fail schema validation or misclassify errors.
PROMPT.md
Clean-room public code sample — generation instructions

Write a brand-new, minimal, self-contained code sample in this clean-room directory.
Do not copy, paraphrase, or reference any existing project source. Work only from this spec.

A csx.json manifest scaffold already exists. Do not recreate it from memory. Preserve its case.goal, packages and symbols; fill its empty case.contract with exact assertions and correct its environment, commands and verifierAdapter for the files you generate.

Goal: verify go.opentelemetry.io/otel/codes.Error in pkg:golang/go.opentelemetry.io/otel@v1.44.0
Kind: HOW

Use EXACTLY these public packages and versions:
  - pkg:golang/go.opentelemetry.io/otel@v1.44.0
Demonstrate these symbols/APIs:
  - go.opentelemetry.io/otel/codes.Error
Required runtime conditions:
  - ecosystem: golang
  - language: go
  - packageManager: go@1.26.6
  - runtime: go@1.26.6

Rules:
  - One focused purpose; the smallest project that proves the goal.
  - Include a contract test (test/contract.*) that runs OFFLINE and exits 0 exactly when the goal behavior works.
  - Pin every dependency with a lockfile so resolution is reproducible.
  - No secrets, credentials, or tokens. No real URLs (only example.com or localhost). No absolute paths.
  - No personal names, emails, company names, or project identifiers of any kind.
  - No binaries and no generated output (node_modules, dist, target, venv, .git, .env).
  - Keep it under 200 files and 256KB packed.
