MIT-0

Contrato

  1. assert a sig typed T::Array[Integer] admits an array of Strings, because a sig parameter is validated with valid?, which stops at the outer class
  2. assert the outer class of a collection is still checked, and that a T::Hash sig is equally shallow in key and in value
  3. assert T.cast is runtime-checked exactly like T.let rather than being a static-only assertion, that T.unsafe is the one that checks nothing, and that both T.let and T.cast stay shallow on collections
  4. assert the same T::Array[Integer] written as a T::Struct prop is checked element by element on new and on the generated setter, and that the failure names the whole container with no index
  5. assert from_hash skips that element check, so a deserialized struct carries values its own constructor refuses, and that from_hash needs String keys
  6. assert recursively_valid? is the deep check while valid? and validate! are shallow, and that guarding a boundary with it rejects what the sig admitted
  7. assert a mutable prop default is copied per instance instead of aliased across every instance
  8. assert T::Struct defines no value equality, so two identical structs are unequal, miss as Hash keys and both survive uniq, and serialize is what you compare instead
  9. assert a sig is built on the first call, so arity is -1 until then and a wrong parameter name raises RuntimeError on that first call rather than at load
  10. assert sig without extend T::Sig is a plain NoMethodError
  11. assert sig { void } hands the caller a sentinel module instead of the method's real return value
  12. assert abstract! blocks instantiation and an unimplemented abstract method raises NotImplementedError
  13. assert checked(:never) removes the check for argument and return alike, and that an override with no sig of its own is unchecked
