Contract

  1. Caddy's filter.ip_mask log filter module (caddy.logging.encoders.filter.ip_mask) masks IPv4 and IPv6 addresses according to configured CIDR subnet masks, supporting plain IP strings, host:port pairs, and comma-separated IP lists.
  2. The filter.ip_mask module is registered in the Caddy module registry under ID caddy.logging.encoders.filter.ip_mask and instantiates as *logging.IPMaskFilter implementing zapcore log field filtering with caddy.Provisioner.
  3. When integrated into Caddy's FilterEncoder under caddy.logging.encoders.filter, configuring a field with the ip_mask filter applies CIDR-based subnet masking to target IP log fields before JSON encoding.
