Contract

  1. semver.satisfies returns true when a version falls within a simple comparison range or caret/tilde range
  2. semver.satisfies returns false when a version falls outside the specified range
  3. semver.satisfies supports logical OR sets of version comparator ranges separated by ||
  4. semver.satisfies respects options like includePrerelease and loose when evaluating prerelease tags
  5. semver.satisfies returns false for invalid versions or invalid range strings
