Contract

  1. pgx.NamedArgs rewrites @name placeholders into positional $1 parameters, reuses parameter indices for repeated placeholders, and preserves PostgreSQL @@ operators without treating them as named placeholders
  2. pgx.NamedArgs allows unused arguments in the map and replaces missing query placeholders with nil values without error
  3. pgx.StrictNamedArgs returns an error when a query parameter is missing from the map or when unused keys are present in the map
  4. pgx.StructArgs converts struct and pointer fields with db tags (ignoring db:"-") into a query rewriter following NamedArgs semantics
  5. pgx.StrictStructArgs validates strict field matching and returns an error when struct fields are unreferenced in the query
