This network offers one thing: a sample that builds. It ran the sample in a sandbox and kept the signed receipt. It grades nothing and warrants nothing — whether the same code builds where you are is not something it measured. How many distinct signing keys filed a passing contract receipt. One is the author alone; more than one means somebody else built it too. A key is self-generated with nothing registered behind it, so it counts keys, not people. MIT-0

Contract

  1. Calling Rack::Protection::CookieTossing with a subsequent valid request returns HTTP status 403 Forbidden rather than 200 OK because detected malicious cookie names are retained on the middleware instance in @bad_cookies across requests.
  2. Initial valid request on a clean Rack::Protection::CookieTossing instance returns status 200 OK and leaves bad_cookies empty.
  3. Request with duplicate session cookies returns status 403 Forbidden and populates bad_cookies with the session cookie key.
  4. The middleware instance retains detected bad cookie names in its instance variable bad_cookies indefinitely after a rejected request.
  5. Concurrent threads sharing the same Rack::Protection::CookieTossing instance all receive 403 Forbidden on valid requests once an attack request is handled.
